A Woman's Affair is a trade show organized specifically for women about women. This total women's show is a place to make contact with women owned businesses, discuss important health issues, get tips for managing finances, become aware of new career opportunities and education possibilities, see the latest fashions, enjoy a makeover or massage, pick up new home-decorating ideas and gardening information, or discover a new hobby...all under one roof.There will be a place to present seminars, demonstrations and clinics, single parenting help, a hands on decorative painting clinic, the best exercise program for your busy schedule...the choice of subjects are limitless. There will be three presentation areas located adjacent to the arena. If you have a topic you would like to present be sure and sign up early as space will be limited. This is a great opportunity to present your product or service, obtain leads, and to introduce something new.
The 2009 event was a great success. Over 150 different businesses and agencies participated and the two-day event had a public attendance of 2921. Vendor response was very positive and many have already signed up for the 2010 show. The public loved the "feel" of the show and enjoyed the opportunity of gathering educational information and shopping. The seminars that took place throughout the weekend were a huge attraction with attendance ranging from 25 to 50 people per session.

Click here for Friday Night Fun FormThe show will open Friday evening, April 9 with a wine tasting from 6pm to 9pm. The evening will be sponsored by Image Optical, and we know it is going to be big fun...There will be a wine tasting with 15 stations and over 100 wines courtsey of Gold Hill Imported Beer and Fine Wines, the stations will be located in different vendor booths around the arena, on the spot hors d'oeuvres, GREAT Door Prizes...live music, ...a real "Girls Night Out". Price for the public to attend The Friday Evening Tasting will be $25 and will include all of the above plus a event wine glass and $10 coupon off of purchase of $30 or more from Gold Hill and a weekend pass to A Woman's Affair from KO Productions. There will also be a no-alcohol ticket for $10 with soda instead of wine.

Women's shows are hot and sweeping the nation in every major city. A Woman's Affair is your chance to market your business or agency to a large cross section of our community in a single weekend.
The Facts
Where is it taking place? The Carlson Center. The Center has over 43,000 sq. ft. of available space and is the Interior's premier location for trade shows.When is it going to happen? April 9, 10, &11, 2010. Daylight is returning to the interior and spring is right around the corner. A great time to start planning summer projects. A great place to showcase yourself and jumpstart your spring business.
What about advertising? $7,000 will be spent on advertising A Woman's Affair. All three medias will be used, TV, Radio, and the newspaper. In addition there will be media co-sponsors to the event that will raise our advertising budget to well over $10,000.
If you're participating in the show and looking for a place to stay the ALPINE LODGE has great rates, a restaurant and bar on site, and is conveniently located. For group reservations, shuttle service to and from tradeshow is complimentary!

Natural Health Fair
The Natural Health Fair at A Woman's Affair is a great opportunity to increase public awareness of choices for natural health and healing in the Fairbanks Community.The addition of The Natural Health Fair turned into a win win situation for all. Natural Health businesses have the opportunity to participate in a pre-existing show with a successful attendance history. The over all show prospered from additional attendance generated by the public interested in natural health products and services offered in our community.
We are looking for a wide variety of natural health professionals who would like to promote their businesses and/or products in an open and widely publicized event.
