The IABA Home Show took place March 25 - 27, 2011 and was a huge hit! The show's continued success not only attracts statewide but nationwide businesses. Over 150 different vendors participated in the 2011 show and 6570 people attended the three day event (up 10% from last year). Next year's event is scheduled for March 23-25, 2012 with the theme "It's A Jungle Out There"! The Interior Alaska Building Association's Home Show has become a major community event for people interested in every aspect of northern living. It is the only home show in Fairbanks and has become the unofficial kick off to spring and the building season in our community. From financing to new construction to remodelling to refurnishing...it's all there in one location on one floor with lots of free parking.
The IABA HOME SHOW's continued and growing success is due to the quality of the vendors and the home related merchandise that is available at the event. To insure growth in this direction preference for new vendors will be given to businesses that are directly related to the home and home building.
The IABA HOME SHOW is sponsored by the Interior Alaska Building Association. Proceeds from the event go to support this non profit agency whose mission is to promote safe, durable and affordable housing while coordinating all fields related to the building industry for the benefit of our community and the industry as a whole.
The IABA HOME SHOW is an excellent chance for vendors to market goods to a wide cross section of our community. Early registration indicates another sold out event. Don't miss this once-a-year opportunity to be part of the excitement, profit, and fun.

The Facts
It will take place at the Carlson Center, the interiors premier location for trade shows. 43,000 sq. ft. of available space laid out in single 10x10 spaces and multi spaces.This will be the 28th annual event and will take place on March 23, 24, & 25, 2012. A great time to start planning a summer project, and a great place to highlight your business to the project minded section of Fairbanks.
$7,000 will be spent on advertising The IABA HOME SHOW. All three medias will be used, TV, Radio, and the newspaper. In addition there will be media co-sponsors to the event that will raise our advertising budget to well over $10,000.
Seminars and hands on demonstrations will take place throughout the weekend. From home loans to how to build an energy rated home. If your company has a topic or demonstration to present time slots may be requested by filing in the seminar section on the registration sheet.
The cost for a 10'x10' booth is $675 and includes pipe and drape partitions, two chairs and two electrical outlets. A discount is given for multi space purchase. We do take Visa and MasterCard.
