It is the only home show in Fairbanks and has become the unofficial kick off to spring and the building season in our community. From financing to new construction to remodeling to refurnishing...it's all there in one location on one floor with lots of free parking.
The shows continued success not only attracts statewide but nationwide businesses. Over 142 different vendors participated in the 2009 show and 5,959 people attended the three day event.
The IABA HOME SHOW is an excellent chance for you, the vendor, to market your goods to a wide cross section of our community. Early registration indicates another sold out event. Don't miss this once-a-year opportunity to be part of the excitement, profit, and fun.
The Facts
It will take place at the Carlson Center, the interiors premier location for trade shows. 43,000 sq. ft. of available space laid out in single 10x10 spaces and multi spaces.This will be the 26th annual event and will take place on March 26, 27, & 28, 2010. A great time to start planning a summer project, and a great place to highlight your business to the project minded section of Fairbanks.

$7,000 will be spent on advertising The IABA HOME SHOW. All three medias will be used, TV, Radio, and the newspaper. In addition there will be media co-sponsors to the event that will raise our advertising budget to well over $10,000.
Seminars and hands on demonstrations will take place throughout the weekend. From home loans to how to build an energy rated home. If your company has a topic or demonstration to present time slots may be requested by filing in the seminar section on the registration sheet.
The IABA HOME SHOW is sponsored by the Interior Alaska Building Association. Proceeds from the event go to support this non profit agency who's mission is to promote safe, durable and affordable housing while coordinating all fields related to the building industry for the benefit of our community and the industry as a whole.
The cost for a 10'x10' booth is $675 and includes pipe and drape partitions, chairs and two electrical outlets, and a sign upon request. A discount is given for multi space purchase. At this time a 50% deposit is needed to confirm your space. We do take Visa and MasterCard.
Interior Alaska Building Association Members receive a $100 discount off of the total amount due. For information on membership contact Sandy at 455-6650.
If you're participating in the show and looking for a place to stay the ALPINE LODGE has great rates, a restaurant and bar on site, and is conveniently located. for group reservations, shuttle service to and from tradeshow is complimientary.
